How is everyone?

今週紹介するのは、目黒校に勤務するアメリカ・ロサンゼルス出身のBlake(ブレイク)です。

キッズアイランドで一番長い間”ブレイク”しているブレイクは子どもたちの人気者です。
この春、念願のパパにもなり、イクメンぶりをはっきしています！赤ちゃん事情にめちゃくちゃ詳しいです。

それでは、

キッズアイランドに来る前は何をしていましたか？
Blake. I use to work in Toyohashi, Aichi teaching kids from the ages of 2 years old to 18 years old.

趣味はなんですか？
B. My hobbies are digital art (graphic design and illustration), photography, and skateboarding.

好きな食べ物はなんですか？
B. My favorite western food is Pizza and Lasagna. My favorite Japanese food is motsunabe and tsukemen.

子どもたちにどんなことをスクールで経験してもらいたいですか？
B. I want children to have a teacher they can both trust and respect, so that they can always enjoy their time at school learning and playing in comfort.

英語上達のアドバイスをください！
B. Reading to your child in English is very helpful. But if that is hard, watching children’s shows from the US, England, Australia, etc. is always great.

一番好きな日本語を教えてください！
B. My favorite word in Japanese is “木漏れ日”. Because there is no English word for this beautiful sight.

子どもたちを目の前にして繰り広げられる彼の”ショー”は言語を超えて子どもたちを惹きつけ、楽しませてくれます。
そこで生み出される明るい雰囲気はまさにカリフォルニアのように暖かく心地よい風を感じさせてくれます。
と、かっこよく書き過ぎました〜でもそんな感じです！
